For Eg there are places which should be used for commercial establishment, green ares for parks, roads for driving, parking area for parking and red-light areas for prostitution etc. This is the way a city is planned and i understand that each activity should be allowed to be carried from its designated area only. I am sure, you would not allow prostitution to be carried from your neighbourhood. Now, it is the citizens duty to abide by the rules made by the society or the state by not misusing the place. Few non-sense creatures are mis-using the residential area and carrying out commercial activities from there. It causes many problems to the residents of that particular area at large...like traffic chaos, water and electricity problems. Further, since the commercial activities are being carried out from houses or residential areas, the commercial complexes and malls developed by the government are not fully utilised and occupied leading to unutilisation of vital resources. Again, in India it seems most of the things happen on the roads. People park their vehicles on road, people live on them, stay cattle wanders on road, people urinate on raods and to add to the misery, the shop owners encroach practicaly half of the road for their purposed leaving only other half on which the customers park their vehicles. This will not make delhi a better place of living. IMO :) A citizen of India has every right to use his property. Its violation of citizen rights, I feel. its my personal view.
