Land holdings of major real estate players are the main focus of the market these days.
The key players in this field are the Sahara group, DLF & Omaxe with large land banks, low-profile players like Unitech, which recently shot into limelight with a Rs.1, 582crore deal to buy 340acres at Noida. These key players are now on a land acquisition spree across the country.
Sahara is estimated to own over 10, 000 acres, & this figure is attained after excluding Amby Valley that accounts for another 10, 000 acres.
Unitech owns 8, 120acres and DLF, which is considered to be the high-profile real estate, is estimated to be sitting on a land bank of nearly 4, 265 acres.
