According to a recent survey it was found that Retail investors subscribed to 31.3 per cent of the equity shares offered in 61 public issues, fractionally behind foreign financial institutions’ (FIIs) subscription of 32.6 per cent shares. The 61 public offers mobilised Rs 21,218 crore this year, of which retail investors contributed Rs 6,321 crore while FIIs put in Rs 6,916 crore.
So who says that the stock market is driving hard on the liquidity given by the FIIs only. Retail investor segment has also contributed sizeably to increase the liquidity in the stock markets.

India is a big country having largest population. I feel retaile investement is more attractive bet if you target this segement.
Large investors are not safe bet. The actual fund mobilisation comes from retail investors only.
