Over the past few days, MCD has suddenly awaken out of its long sleep. Alas! after the hig court order, they have opened their eyes to the illegal and unauthorised construction all over Delhi. This illegal construction both commercial and residential had become a nuisance for the Delhihites. This had led to people making shops in residential area or people occupying the pavement or part of the roads or drains leading to traffic related problems or lot of chaos in an otherwise a quite and peaceful neighbourhood.

People are accusing MCD officials for being corrupt or acting mischievious but we should look into the larger and braoder prospective. If this drive of MCD is successful, it certainly is going to make DELHI a better place to live in. So, lets all raise our hands and say that ” we support this drive of the Govt.”
