Yeah, Rahul is right in saying that bank officials an DPs might be invloed in this too. Due to this scam by Ms Panchal, many retail investors could not be alloted shares which they were rightly due for. I too applied for IPOs for Yes bank and many others but didnt get any. Like me many people might have lost an oppurtunity to earn some return on the money invested by us.

Sebi and RBI should not only investigate the matter but should be more vigilant in future. Being the governing body, Sebi should take the responsibility of letting this happen and ensure that this kind of incidnet is not repeated again.

Such a fraud is not possible without “help” of bank officials and DPs..

SEBI and RBI should investigate the matter seriously and punish the real culprits to reatin faith of retail investor in capital market.

After all, in every fraud/scam its the common man who is at the sufferring end.
