Imagine an organisation wherein there is no personal relation between the employee and the employer. The only relationship that exists is that of master and the servant. ….
An organisation where the owner does not care about the employees and thinks that his reponsibility is limited to paying the salaries in time. An organisation where moments of success and triumph are not celebrated with its employees….the triumph or success which is because of the employees who worked hard and because of whom the owner is savouring the sweetness of success. An organisation where the festivals are not celebrated together……Would any employee answer to the CALL of the HOUR in such an organisation…?? The answer is a BIG NO
In today’s world the employees and the employers have to march hand-in-hand. The employees have to be taken along, nurtured, cared and made feel secure while travelling on the road to success and progressiveness. No organisation can move ahead by leaving their luetinents, soldiers and commanders in lurch.
Today, I came accross such a callous employer and I could not believe what I heard. An person was going through a tough time as someone in his family was hospitalised. The patient was operated upon and matters grew from bad to worse. And at such a point of time, where all his colleagues and relatives were standing by the employee ( whose relative was operated upon), the employer instead of offering a helping hand expected him to come and work or maybe carry the work to the hospital’s waiting room.
One and all felt disgusted on gettin to know the aproach and the mindset of the employer. The result —— 25 resignations in a period of 3 months and that too from the middle level and the senior level.
Behaving rudely, reprimanding for petty reasons, humiliating and insulting the employees or sub-ordinates is a thing of past. The sooner the quasi-corporates (the owner driven companies who think they r a corporate but are actualy not) understand this fact the better it is, else you never know what might happen…….
