Out of these few are free services and few chare a nominal fees of 4-5 USD per month. You can chose from lots of design themes available or create one of your own using user freindly tools. Once you are done with the theme, you are ready to start blogging and thereafter, all you need to do is to add content to your site. Medium and large organisations often take the services of Search Engine Optimisers (SEOs) to increase the traffic in the blog.
You need to keep the following in mind to creat an effective blog:
-> You need to start your blog on a particular topic or area of interest. So better choose a topic you are passionate about.
-> It is more effetice if you concentrate on short, frequent entries in the blog. It might as well be a personal expeirience.
-> Use correct grammar and language. Avoid using slangs and lingo.
-> The Content of the blog should be organized purposefully so as to create interest of the readers.
-> Update your blog frequently. Post atleast 4-5 times a week.
-> Include your key contact information on your blog.
Technology professionals, journalists, doctors and lawyers have embraced blogs. Blogs are just catching on in the accounting profession, and that means the door is wide open for CPA and Chartered Accountant firms to create new and innovative uses of this technology. There is a huge opportunity for accountants to enter this area.
