Middle east region has become the central point of attraction for nearly 400 airport & aviation suppliers who are emulation for lucrative contracts.

This would result in the airport development & expansions worth more than $40 billion and $20 billion out of this estimated amount will be invested in UAE alone.

The airport Build & supply exhibition, which opens in Dubai on Monday has managed, attract a record gathering of suppliers across the globe.

The $8.1 billion Dubai World Central International Airport is one of the major projects that are alluring the attention of maximum suppliers. This project is the master plan revealed by the UAE government last month.

Dubai World Central International Airport is the principle project weaved by Dubai World Central. The project is the massive multi-phase development 40km south of Dubai City Center previously known as Jebel Ali Airport City.

The work began in 2005 on the airport. The airport is specially designed to serve the emirate’s passenger and cargo air transportation needs until 2050 & beyond.

There are many other airport projects on the line including the $4.1 billion revamp of Dubai International Airport & the $6.8 billion expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Around $5.5 billion is being invested in the New Doha International Airport, $1.5 billion in the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah to develop a new aviation hub in the region.
