According to a report published in Financial Express, Chartered acountants and lawyers can now form partership firms which can respond to tenders and advertise in a limited manner. The reports says that three Bills pertaining to the professions of chartered accountants, company secretaries and cost and work accountants were passed by Rajya Sabha.

The proposed laws would allow multi-disciplinary partnership among these professions as well others like the legal profession. Further partnership with foreign professionals would also be allowed.Also, limited advertsiing through write-ups, setting out services provided by the professinals and other particulars about the partership firm, would be allowed. Limited advertisement through write-up will also be allowed.
