Professionals always have to take up challenges and have to prove themselves time and again. And no professional should averse to take up challenges. So Indian Chartered Accountants should be ready and be prepared now for more. THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has finaly decided to remove the restriction on practising chartered accountants from taking up audit or certification work in the US even if they are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
So new business avenues to be explored freinds….what say?? With more work flowing in from United States of America, Indian Chartered Accountant who is also a CPA can now undertake certification and audit work in US. The firm undertaking any such work must mention in the certificate that work has been certified by a firm registered with ICAI.
Foreign companies, investors, employers etc are eyeing the vast untapped Indian markets and India has become a favoured destination for outsourcing businesses. Seeing the changes in the business scenario at present and the way Indian economy is growing and opening up, Indian professionals must gear up and organise themselves and further, develope competency to compete with the international players.
Now in the given scenario, if the Indian qualifications and education programmes are recognised on a global level, the professionals would definitly get an edge over the others.
